Yesterday I was looking at the front tire when I felt a fair amount of exhaust coming from where the header and the V&H slip on join. I don't believe that I have noticed this before. Could the clamp be loosening from the vibration or could this be a issue with something else?

Any input would be much appreciated.

Jim

Ya need to put some high temp silicon around it(inside) to keep it from leaking.

James,
Red high temp Permaex (Pep Boys) works well. The factory uses a similar looking material so thats what I used on my V&H. Word to the wise, apply to inside of V&H on outside of header.
