With the price of gas soaring, I'm looking for a gas cap for my S1WL. What's the Buell part #? Any other ideas? thanks, Overload in Colorado |

I bought a locking gas cap from a 2000 S-3 on E(vil)-Bay and it fit's my '98 S-1 just fine. |

be aware that the lock is operable with any same size key, or a cotter pin, for that matter -- it will slow down a theif, though, and, often, that's all ya need -- not dissing anyone/thing, but you should be aware what you're getting |

Locks are to keep honest people honest. If someone is truly a criminal they'll figure out a way to steal anything. |

Yeah. If they want it that bad they can just poke a hole in the tank with a pick. |
