Quote:Can I see it comming, or did it happen over night.
Tough call. Erik turned the big 50 and I hit 48 this year. I recently said I was the youngest I have ever been. My 23 year old son has grounded me this weekend. I looked at a picture of Erik and I that was taken 13 years ago. . . we were children. We also spent a good deal of the night out riding (wives wisely followed in the car) and dancing. "ah but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now" Didn't I just say that? Court |

JB2, How right you are. My business unfortunately is seasonal and getting away then is only currently a daydream, but you never know things can change. SteveH |

Ahh thats a relief, about 12 years ago I was 15 years older then I am now. I was a detective back then. The long coat, hat and 2 holes in the newespaper type. Last week I aplied for an new job (and got it), as an hand-to-hand combat instructor. That will make me even 12.5 years younger then I am now. (Just recovering from a 24 hours party in Amsterdam, make that 11.5 years.) :+) I am counting the days Grizzly |

Grizzly with your demonstrated Mathmatics abilities surley you are wasted teaching un-armed combat, there most be a lot of openings in Large US Corparations for Accountants at the moment. |

It was quite a relif to mee to not come as a complete goof. Dave did a really good job of covering what we are doing. It would be nice to hear what the rest of you think. Paul |

Just came in from the shop in time to catch it ... MOST COOL!!! For those of you who missed it, the theme of the show was the Bonneville effort honoring Davey Camlin, as well as Kevin Atherton's recovery and resuming his career. This is going to be a great event. Man have I got a lot of work to do. |

Griz, Congrats on the new job fella. Can I be your first student? I need some tips in case this Texan bloke gets frisky when I'm sharing the motel room with him in Wendover..... Please make it stop raining tomorrow. It's nearly 40 degrees here and reminds me of Oz. I'm getting homesick. PPiA |

Pete, Gi'me two days. Ill do a SunDance that'll stop the rain around saturday (only 1 leg to dance so that will double the days) and give you a comfy 26 degrees. Bundy works for Texans as well Griz |

Griz, Only 26? I'm glad I brought a jacket with me. I've heard that drinking American beer is a bit like having sex on the beach, so Bundy'd probably knock him out cold. That'll do. PPiA |

LSR news, Bike week with Dave Despain is planning on having a crew out there filming from probably Thursday thru Sunday. We assured them there were plenty of interesting stories and activities to make a years worth of TV. See you on the Salt Paul Seriously hoping my 15 minutes of fame is over with. |

Griz, you are on the wrong side of this impending international clash of hooligans. I'm the one that needs the help here, not Mr. Greek Beach Bather. |

Peter/Grizzly: when will the Aussie/Euro contingency arrive in Denver, CO? I'm thinking about flying out to Denver before WOS to hang out and generally get in people's way It would be cool if we could hook up and make it out to Aaron's place together. Henrik |

Court, Relaz. I think Aaron is going to be the chauffeur. Henrik, Friday 13th (natch) at about 19.00 or so I think. I'll check for sure when I get home tomorrow. I think Paul from Oz will be arriving a couple of hours earlier, then sitting in the corner holding his jar of Vegemite while he waits for us to arrive.... PPiA |

Susan and I have been discussing transportation arrangements to Bonneville. We may very well end up taking the Expedition, it can seat eight, as well as the truck which can seat six. Just depends on what we need, and who all passes through and how many vehicles & seats they have. We'll work it out. No worries, mate. |

Henrik Petes memory serves him well in regard to arrival time. I will be asleep in the corner cant sleep on planes and will have been traveling 31 hours by then. Has Big girls blouse made a decision yet. No worries about associating with The mild colonial boys be more scared of a certain NYC resident whose need to show off has no boundries. Wheelies in front of sleeping homless people in the middle of the night just to have an audience is a real worry |

I just hope I have the race bike done in time ... you would not believe how I'm scrambling at the moment. Thank god for Cycle-Rama, they are really bending over backwards to help me and they have all the know-how and industry connections to get things done. I couldn't do it without them. |

Fellow Beullers, The sidecar Blast effort by dad and I is well on its way. This is going to be fun. The thought of meeting all of you is not only elating, but also frightening (grin). I have a fuel valve for sale. This is the same or at least simular to the one stock on an RR. I had to buy three which is at least one more than I need. I post this here first as I would like it to go to a fellow LSRer. The cost will be $38 plus shipping which is what I paid. They are marked manufactured in 7/02. Can't get fresher than that. Again, hope to see you all on the salt. P.S. Dad and I will be at Aaron's the weekend prior. We will be driving an extended cab PU and can take 1-2 persons from there to Wendover if interested. Ray |
