Ok here is the deal. That little buzzer that goes on when the bike is in neutral, kickstand is up sometimes does not turn off after the bike is started. Sometimes it does. What is the nature of that irritating sound and where can I "disable" or what can I do to repair it? Thanks |

It's probably the fuel pump. It gets fairly loud when the fuel gets low. Mine quieted down again about 10K miles or so. It's also louder in the cold. |

I thought it to be a warning buzzer of some type but come to think of it The thing does sometimes get quieter after the little red "V" (fuel pump indicator) on my dashboard goes out. Of course sometimes it does not get much quieter at all. Thanks guys |

That buzzer is the fuel pump and it should turn off after about 4 seconds. The V-twin engine light should also go off. Then you can start it. If your fuel pump is staying on constantly, you might want to get that checked. |
