I have a 00X1 and I get some engine knocks and pings when I hammer it (WFO). They don't last very long. I have always run 93 octane in it. Does your bike do this? Anything below 3,000rpm and you'll probably get knocking. My truck has an ECU. Planning on getting one next year along with a D&D pipe and K&N filter. Just wondering if the pings were the nature of the beast tho. Has the Race ecm cleared up you knocks?
