I am getting rid of this project against my better judgement because my wife is cracking the whip. Check it out http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4565533953&rd=1&ss pagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 |

I don't even want to ask what the reserve is set at 'cause I ain't got the scratch to get it with. I assume it has the right side shifter and left side brake like all good XLCH's had, right? Interesting exhaust pipes on it as well. |

'75 was the first year of the Fed. mandated "right side brake, left side shift" and this bike would have a series of linkages that swap the control actions from each side to the other. Someone with a little ingenuity and some earlier parts could probably make it into a right shift, left brake bike, the way God intended Sportsters to be! (the God of flat tracks, that is!) This is a smokin' deal for someone, IMHO- AL |

Leftcoastal is exactly right. The bike has left shift and right brake with an odd linkage system. Have pegs and most parts, missing a bolt or two. |
