Or even possibly making the plastic a reverse mirror causeing some of the light to reflect back into the riders field of view? It's something of a fad in Japan with people with access to dental mold equipment. Imagine, if you will, a translucent orange airbox, illuminated from within, and painted black except for "Buell" and some flames!
