Compare the XB12X with one of the traditional XB's. You will notice it says that the new wheels are reinforced, it doesn't mention that for the traditional models. Anyone know more about that? |

The look a little thicker in the bead area in the pictures on the X only, but that just may be a reflection. |

The Ulysses wheels have a different rim profile, and weigh about a pound each more than those of other XBs. This was done after bending stock rims in off-road, rocky desert testing. The new wheels weren't used on the rest of the line because they were thought overkill for street riding. |

The 12X wheels get a "mag-tone" gold powder paint. Very durable. Hides dirt, muck, brake dust nicely... |

Ha! Wheels and ZTL brakes were discussed alot over on advrider and had me wondering as I've never owned a Buell. I figured browsing the threads over here would answer some questions!!! |
