buddy at work has a 2004 road king and wants to lower it with quality components with as little effect to handling as possible, any suggestions? |

Yes, you can buy a White brothers kit, Harley lowered shocks or TJK make a 1 and a 1 1/2 inch lowering kit. I just got back from the dealer show in Colorado and I will check stock and prices for you tomorrow. You can always post Harley or Buell questions on our sponsor section. (Stone Mountain HD/Buell). I had a set of short Progressive shocks on a sportster that I took off when I sold it. They fit right on the Road King with no problem. Supposidly they were too short for it, but it slammed it with no problems. I don't remember how long they were, but 1" shorter than the book says would fit. Only negative was loss of the air ride. (only used to haul fat chicks, but hey, there fun too!) |
