XB12 with a silver frame? Same seat? That's not what the ad indicated. |

The photo had already been posted and was being discussed in another thread... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/128295.html?1121880039 Sorry for the duplication. |

I'm sure it's close. It says XB12X Ulysses on the timer cover. My guess is it's an early mock-up. Look at the airbox cover, it is Amber translucent. That's exactly what I'd expect from 'em, anyway. |

Rick_a, see anony's post above, and the Buell ad from Sport Rider which is very obviously a very different motorcycle. The MCN "photo" ain't close. (Message edited by whodom on July 21, 2005) |

I guarantee aside from the obvious ancillary details that will be it. The concept is absolutely correct. Don't be scared So what happened to the picture, then? |

I'd think a more likely story is there are 2 new Buell models... and the CityX is now available in Orange... |

It really looks only slightly different from the teaser ad. How can it be that far off, then? |

Oh wait...then again...a handlebar, hand guards, brush guards, a headlight grill, a higher seat, blue translucent bodywork and better tire lately do make a totally different model to Buell. So in that perspective it must be miles away! |

Note to factory Translucent blue bodywork for the 9R |

Rick... Longer wheelbase. More suspension travel. Looks like some kind of rack or something on the tail. |
