Has anyone tried running these tires? I only got 3200k out of my rear dunlop and as I do mostly highway stints I was thinking of trying these as they supposedly get good mileage. I understand the regular diablo gets better mileage than the stock 208 as well. As well, any comments about mixing the front 208 with another brand of rear tire? What sort of mileage do the front 208's get? I did 950km yesterday on my lightning. I checked inflation when I left in the morning. When I got to my last gas stop I was amazed that the tire had gone from good at 2300km to almost completely gone @3200km. The centre of the tire even looks like it's coming apart. I checked the pressure again this morning and it was right on. |

I've had a Diablo on the rear and it lasted for about 5500 miles. I rode it pretty hard all the way until the belts were showing...It handles really good and I think it sticks better than most tires. I would recommend it. I'm switching to a different tire for now, just to try some others out for future reference (I also got a really good deal on them)... I actually have a stock 208 on the front and have had pretty good luck with it, no problems mixing and matching front and rear tires, although I am going to new tires front and rear to see how much better everything handles with matching tires. Good luck! |
