I'm new to the Buell world, having just bought my xb9r about 4 months ago, and I'm still getting used to the character noises of the engine. I've been listening to a rattle noise for a while now that I though was nothing but am starting to think it might be a ping. I tightened every nut and bold I could get my hands on hoping that was the rattle, but no change. I've read about a million post on "ping" sounds and am still a little uncertain. I would love to get an experienced set of ears to listen to it and tell me if I'm paranoid. | ||

I'm working late all week this week. I will possibly be at Thunder Thursday at Cruisers in Stateline, or maybe even Hooters Bike Night tomorrow night. There is a group ride going on this weekend up to Bonners Ferry for pizza, I should be on that one too. I'm not sure if this is allowed or not, but check out pnwriders.com, thats the forum I am usually on, and where the group ride is being planned, same screen name there. | ||

Looks like I have something going on every night you do this week. Is there a time next week that would work for you? I'm also looking for a trust worthy shop around here...do you have a preferred place that you take your bike. |
