I'm curious.. thinking about doing a nallin 1420cc kit &stg 3 heads on my xb9 but would need the xb12 crank/flywheel for the stroke. anyone got any insight into doing this? i was looking at the baker xl6 kit the other day only to be dissapointed when i found that the xb's don't have the trapdoor tranny assembly talk about being let down! the thought of 1420cc's and a 6spd was wicked |

if you are gonna stroke it, go all the way. use the S&S 4-5/16" stroker flywheel assembley.with a 3-5/8" bore that gives 89 cubic inches, and they WILL rev to 7000 rpm anytime you want. |

Cryptic, you won't need a six speed if you put an XB12 primary in it and a Freespirits "speed" pulley set on the back. 2800 rpm @ 80mph roughly I would highly recommend the work. |

FP I was unaware the S&S 4-5/16" kit would work in the XB cases...is that a new listing in S&S's stuff? |

you may be right, piston cooling jets could interfere. have to call S&S to verify. makes a fun motor though. |
