bling bling. polished frame this winter, put lights on last year, finally took a night shot. It's hard to take a decent shot like that. need a long 1 second or better exposure to get the light, and a flash to get the bike.

I haven't had a chance to take a new shot of my bike (and I added a few more lights this weekend for the front of the bike) but it is hard. I was told by my distributor that you should not take a picture in complete darkness, but rather in lowlight like you did. I guess that is why your pic is much clearer then mine.

you see my bike because I used the flash, it's not very bright because I compensated -2.0 stops. you see the light because it's also a 1 second exposure.

I took a couple with the flash also, I am just going to have to work at it. They also told me to put my camera on a stand to help keep it still.

I have an orange frame and was going for the "on fire" look. In that picture I had 60 LED lights mounted on the engine section and rear section of the bike. I added 18 more to the front this weekend. I actually drilled six holes in the bottom of my headlight assembly and mounted the lights inside. Nowhere on my bike can you see an actual bulb, just the glow from them. It really looks 100 times better in person. It makes the ground glow almost 2 ft all the way around the bike.

Can we get details Dsergison? What did you use for the lights and how did you mount it?

two little 2" neons from autozone, they are inset in the plastic under the frame.

on the left side the neon is in a slot I cut in the intake, so the bottom half shines on the engine and the top half shines up in the scoop and you see the glowing air scoop innerds from the front.

there are two little transformers with them and they wire to the battery for power, a little switch and fuse I set in the plastic under the seat near the fan.

I may get a better left side pic tonight.
