Where do you guys buy your T27 Torx driver bits? My Craftsman one broke and they don't seem to stock it anymore, or maybe they are just out of them. I need to get one today so I can finish my first service and get on the road to Bike Week(end) at Laconia. |

If you have a NAPA auto parts store around then they should have one. Or any place that carries tools. Just start calling your local hardware stores. |

I've called a few hardware stores and they said something to the affect of "Oh sure we have torx bits, but I wouldn't know what sizes we have from behind the counter." I'll just stop in at lunch time I guess, thanks for the help. |

Looks like they still carry them, but mine was one of the one of the socket type, maybe thats why I didn't see it. Wasn't looking for the right thing. |

Lordco (a local BC autoparts chain). Actually, just bought a pair of 1/4" hex driven Torx bits yesterday (hmmm, made by Allen...) along with a 3/8" square drive 3/8" hex to torque the head bearings properly. I also got my 3/8" drive T45 (I think it was) "security" Torx bit there, required to remove the ignition module from the top tripleclamp (I installed a Helibars unit). |

Buy a Snap On and you will never regret doing so, I work with tools all day long and only use Snap On!!! |

Ditto: Snap-On tools are THE BEST! I will get a Matco tool if it's a specialty item that they only sell, but everything else I buy is Snap-On. Hands down the best tools for the money, but you will have to pay a bit more. Think of it as an investment. |
