Anyone who did it what did you pay? Tsmith4378 yours looks pretty good.

So unless i missed something the only hard parts I need to order is the bodywork, seats, and the subframe.
I did not see anything about the old "s" passenger footpegs fitting; do they?

i did everything for under $500, using used parts.
you need:
subframe
plastics
seats

the "S" passenger supports are the same, you will need two new mounting bolts for the supports. (the s has 2 that bolt through the frame with a nut, and two that just screw into the frame. the r uses all 4 that just screw into the frame.)

you will need to make the turn signal and brake lines longer. used butt connectors, zip ties and a little velcro.

see this for more info, and feel free to ask any questions. there are a few of us here that have done this already.

I got everything new from DaveS for just under $1100, but I got the custom riders seat and pass. pillion. It would have been a little less without them.

The conversion just takes a little time and patience. Other than that, it pretty simple.

Have fun.

madbandito-
i still have my S stuff. i am looking to sell it.

parts are from a 2003 XB9S.
includes:
stock seat
both sides of the subframe
undertray
stock rear cheesegrater/plate light/plate mount
seat lock cable/latch (need to use own lock)
battery strap
rear shock resv. bracket

you will need 2 bolts to mount the passenger peg supports (the ones the the R uses).
you will need the tail light, and turn signals (can use the R's).
you will need a lock (can use the one off your R).
you will need the bolt that holds the shock resv to the undertray.

i am looking to get $250 (shipping extra) for everything, and wont split it up. i can ship however you desire.

i'll post a picture as soon as possible.

and i know.....classifieds should be in the classifieds....just answering the bandito's question.
