Thank the good Lord that Rob did not have to suffer any longer. Our brother is finally at peace. Sincerest condolences to the family of a brave man. |

This is a poem that was given to me after my father passed of a long illness that I wanted to share with the group. The author is unknown. Do not stand by my grave and weep I am not there I do not sleep I am a thousands winds that blow I am a diamond glint on the snow I am the sunlight on the ripened grain I am the gentle autumn rain. I an the fleeting bird up in the sky I do not want to see you cry I am the sweet smells of the early spring I will be with you when you laugh and sing. For I am you and you are me And in your hearts I shall always be. |

We aren't meant to remain happy, healthy, and at peace on this earth. If we were, we wouldn't need Buells and other worldly possessions to make us temporarily happy. God bless you, your family, and your friends, Rob. |

Somehow, through hardship, the world seems much smaller. Look how Rob through his courage has brought us all here together. It is a wonderous thing. I only wish I could have met him in my life. I'm sure the experience would be wonderful. I'll look forward to it... I've lost both my parents to forms of cancer and I pray there will soon be a cure. Blessed be those smarter than I, racing for the cure. For you Rob, a deserved and peaceful rest. Go with God Brother. Charlieboy |

And I also, passed by this thread, but after reading ALL of it, can only thank you Rob for being such a great man, and so incredibly brave. A special lesson has been delivered by this individual, we all should be so lucky as to have known him, even in cyberspace. |

I've never owned Buell, I've never even ridden a Buell, and I've never seen a Buell other than in pictures. I recently bought an 06 Lightning XB12 and will be taking delivery in December. I'm in Ar Ramadi Iraq right now and Buell has special offers to Soldiers overseas...point is I have had thoughts about canceling the order because I have..never thought myself a motorcycle kind of guy..the only reason I put the order in is because an 04 Cobra is so expensive..I'm not canceling the order anymore, I sit here here in this Hell, inspired by the kindness you all have shown A brave man locking horns with his own fate and smiling to the end. I'm not canceling the order anymore because I would be proud to make it home to leave one brotherhood and join another and ride, truly free, into the hills with you all. |

Army, welcome aboard, keep safe! I managed to ride into D.C. yesterday with sveral hundred bikes for rolling thunder, and you couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Along the ride in (about 60 miles of police escort ) there were hundreds of people on overpasses and along the roadside waving 'ol Glory and pumping their arms. It was truly amazing. As we came into D.C. anfd the Washington Monument came into view, I started to tear up a bit, thinking of all those who have and are now serving, and I thought about Rob, my father ( passed away several years ago ), and of my friends I knew during my years in the Navy who are no longer with us. Come home army, get that buell, and ride with us! God bless you all |

Armybueller - welcome to the community, look in the Storm Fronts section of the web and go to AZ Buellers. A very active group, lots of good information and great people. I know this is Rob's thread, Somehow I don't think he will mind sharing. |

Come home safe Brother. I'm sure if Rob's watching from above, he's smiling & feeling pretty damn proud for having had such a positive impact on the world. |
