Any suggestions on the best way to cut down my carbonfiber rear fender? Precautions? Any ideas would be appreciated.

put masking tape on both sides of the area you are going to cut. Use a Dremel tool with the ceramic cutting discs. This combination will give a very nice clean cut.

Just don't get everything confused and wear the jockstrap as a mask...or at least make sure it's not used...
