If you mean can you put on a freer flowing muffler without changing the ECM, many have done it. The stock ECM's map seems to be forgiving enough to compensate for a more open system. Wide open straight pipes? You'll probably go beyond what the ECM can compensate for thus losing power and risk damaging the engine. |

D+D If you leave the air filter alone it will run fine with the stock ecm. I, of course, have them in stock Badweb price is 536.36 I'll be back to work on Tuesday after 10 am 1-866-757-1651 ask for Dave in the sales dept. Dave |

I have straight pipes with no baffle, and also a new intake with the stock ECM. It runs just fine. Sherm
