Chasing some jackass in a red Jeep Cherokee that "Brake checked" my buddy and his girlfriend, and sent them sprawling on the pavement. This @#$%@E%#$% could have killed 3 people tonight, myself included. Any of you guys out there in the Indianapolis area, keep your eye out for a red 95-98 jeep Cherokee with an Indiana license plate 956380A or could be 956308A. My buddy was riding a Honda F4i. It tore up the left side fairing, broke the mirror off, and the pavement gouged through the crankcase cover, so now he has a seeping oil leak. He got a little road rash, his girlfriend got a cut on the hand but they are both ok. I'd tell the whole story right now, but I'm pretty P.O.'d so I'm going to wait. Suffice to say this idiot was TRYING to hurt someone. It was no accident. |

"Brake checking" CERTAINLY is NOT right, but neither is tail gating. I'm always utterly AMAZED at how many motorcyclists I see who tail gate the vehical infront of them. Not saying your buddy did this but I've seen PLENTY of sportbikes do it. I just want to go up to them, grab them, and shake some sense into them like Chris Rock says. |

Yep, I've seen guys do that. Thats not what we were doing however. The guy passed us so he could be in front of us at a stoplight. When the light turned, he took off normally. Then he slammed on the brakes. We did NOTHING to provoke him. |

I hope you were able to get the police involved. That kind of crap is NOT acceptable! It's the reason I joined the AMA-To hopefully have someone stand up for our rights. |

Glad you came out unscathed. It could've went from bad to worse. I hope the police nail that guy's azz to the wall! |

We called 911 and gave them a description and plate number, but we never did find out what happened. I have a buddy that works for the county sherrifs department, he's going to find out for me when he goes back to work on Tuesday. |

What a jackass, if you have the plate number is there a way to find out who the vehical is registered to? I wouldn't feel sorry for him at all if "someone" were to spray paint his tires and rims hot pink.... |
