Hey Guys, I'm thinking of using the Scorpion Syncs on my BMW R1150R Roadster. How do the CITY X tires hold up mileage-wise? |

1100 miles of HARD riding, so far so good. 13 years of sportbike experience, never liked dunlops, always used michelins so i was skeptical of the pirellis but so far i like them. i still have a brand new set of michelin pilots though for when these wear out. |

I got 3000 miles out of my Pirelli rear before it went flat. I might have stretched a few hundred out of it had it not gone flat. The roads in my area seem to chew up tires rapidly. |

8500 miles on mine and it's just about time for me to replace it. |

I've been thinking about going with the Syncs after the 207's wear out(which is coming very soon). 3000mi, I understand the rough road deal, but I thought they would last longer than that???? How long do they last under "Normal use"(hehe) and conditions???? tank |

I don't know what the deal is with me and tires. At 1400 miles, the wear indicators on my Dunlop 207 were very visible. The Dunlops on my Harley didn't seem to last as long as they do for others, either. I've never wheelie-d, stoppie-d, or done a burnout. Never done a track day. However I do allot of engine braking and a large portion of the roads I frequent are chip and seal which is essentially gravel hot-glued to asphalt. I think that is the culprit for my short lived tires... The Pirelli lasted twice as long as the Dunlop, though. |

My syncs are showing wear at 3000 miles, but plenty of life left. Rode home in a heavy rain yesterday, and the tires were unflappable. |

I've got just under 3000 miles on mine and they're barely showing any wear yet. Much better than the 207s as far as that goes. Their profile is higher than the 207s, so the bike'll sit a little taller. -Geof |

Had one rear Scorpion Sync get shredded while riding on the freeway - no explanation why it happened and no evidence of a nail or other foreign object. Parts of the tread actually peeled off. Switched to D208ZRs. I have a Scorpion Sync front with 2300 miles on it - for sale if anyone needs/wants it. It still has 95% tread. $30.00 + shipping OBO. |

I have Scorpions on my 12S and currently have 5k on the set with a large % of those miles in the mountains. The rear is due for a replacement, but I was riding in pouring rain at over 80mph last weekend and it still felt like I was running on rails. |

Stealthxb, what pressure do you run them Scorps at? I noticed in the manual it says 34 frnt & 36 rear for the city X. The 12 with the damnlops says 36 frnt & 38 rear so I was wondering if that was a tire thing or a weight thing between the 9 & 12. |

Joele, how do you like the 208ZR They are great! Have them on my 919 as well. Well priced and very grippy. Take a little while to brake in though. |
