I know someone posted pix of a couple different vented outer airboxes recently but I can't find them. Anyone remember where they are? |

Hogs, that looks GREAT! Where did you get the grating and what did you use to hold it in place? Is that the stock cover that came with the bike? |

Just scroll down for that info... NAh I bought a spare off ebay for 26.00 bucks a white one had to paint it as well, In the future got to do one up for the wifes and son`s... Will be different of course, I wd. recommend if you were to go out to do one get one to do the same color as your original paint ...just in case of chips at least it would show up as mine was white and when it chips one sees white of course. |

Would venting the box negate any ram effects you might be getting from the scoop? |

I am sure it would...if anything you may want to not have air coming in from the scoop...turbulence could occur. The vented airbox would provide the shortest straightline path of air into the motor. Sure wish I could fill the snorkel area with gasoline somehow....EPA (Extremely Problematic Airflow) requirements seem to dictate this "feature". |

Ram air effects are not noticable until well over 120 mph |

Yeah it would be neat to take use of that snorkel area now for something anyways... Yeah thats way I made the cover that way, I did not want any air turbulence to take place , so just air in use of how much the mill needs any extra just flys right on out... Your so right about that Lovematt LoL And who goes 120 mph, well just thee ODD time perhaps LoL... |
