Does anybody have a list of XB9S recalls? I bought an early 03 XB9S with 1600 miles on it and I am wondering if the previous owner had any of the recalls fixed. Thanks so much. |

You can call Buell armed with the VIN number and they should be able to tell you. |

Actually there was a recall on the sidestands. Contrary to popular belief there was NOT a recall for the wheel bearings. It was a "service bulletin", but the dealer will replace the bearings for free if it hasn't already been done. To echo Kaese, "call the company with the VIN"}. They will take good care of you. I won't take too much for granted with regard to what has and has not been done on that VIN number. My VIN had all the recalls and service bulletins done, yet in reality nothing had been done. |
