Our Paintball team uses throat mic technology to coordinate our mass destruction on the field and keep in touch off the field. This technology is also perfect for easy to hear communications while on the motorcycle. By using a FRS and a throat mic, you can eliminate all of the background noise caused by the engine, exhaust and wind Check out the following link http://www.iasus-concepts.com/noise_terminator/nt2_new/nt_gp.html This company[/url] is the local reseller for the tech. http://www.bluekangarootechnologies.com/index_mics.html They have speakers or ear pieces depending on whether or not you wear a helmet. I have both. Speakers for helmet, ear piece for paintball. When you purchase the NT2 GPX you can add the earpiece without having to rebuy everything. I know it aint cheap, but this stuff works absolutely perfectly so I thought I would share. It is Waaaaay better than the chatterbox setups |

Elff... If you are familiar at all with PC's, use a PCI slot cooler for a cooling system in your mask. I play in Northern AZ and it gets pretty hot. I've added a 9V battery, a switch and a few wires along with the fan. It's a thin squirel cage fan and blows in from the top. Here's a pic of one... You would remove the metal plate on the end and drill a few holes large enough for small zip-ties. Cut the Molex connectors off of the two small wires and run them to a small switch from radio shack and then to a 9V battery cap. I strapped the 9V in just in front of my chin with two zip-ties. The lightweight ghillie cap covers the fan (although it has taken two hits in five years). It's better than air conditioning when you turn it on and there's a bit of sweat on your face... Instant cool down . In the winter it'll keep you from fogging up, but it gets chilly. |

I use a Vforce Profiler. So far in weather ranging from 30 degrees to 80 degrees I have not had a fogging problem, but it sure would be nice to get a cool breeze. Where do you actually put that tho? |

A very wise, high-time, grizzled rider told me once "If you talk to eachother during the ride, you'll have nothing to talk about when you stop." Sherm |
