Could I have avoided this with the late style hanger? Is it worth welding? New guy needs advice. I rewelded my headers in a couple places and the first time I got caught in a downpour they busted at the welds. That could've my crappy MIG skills, but a new (used) stock header on ebay was under $50 w/ shipping. I might take this opportunity to experiment with a race header. I'll let you know how it goes. In either case is it worth switching to the later style hanger.
