Toward the end of a nice 600mi weekend, my rear pipe cracked in half at the collector. Could I have avoided this with the late style hanger? Is it worth welding? New guy needs advice. Tx, Vince |

It can be welded with a MIG using mild steel wire. Rocket |

There is a brand new race header/pro pipe that just went up on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4549417953&ca tegory=35573 |

Yeah, just replace it. I rewelded my headers in a couple places and the first time I got caught in a downpour they busted at the welds. That could've my crappy MIG skills, but a new (used) stock header on ebay was under $50 w/ shipping. Rob |

Thanx for the feed back. I might take this opportunity to experiment with a race header. I'll let you know how it goes. In either case is it worth switching to the later style hanger. |
