Here is my situation, I took in both wheels on Buell for warranty work.(Both wheels have chunks of paint chipping off)They already took pictures and sent them into Buell for Warranty approval and it was approved etc... I dropped off my bike last night for warranty work and get a call today from dealership saying the won't warranty wheels because I must have hit something. No dents or any sign of me hitting anything before I brought them in, now I have ridiculousy blatant dents in rims. Do I need to say more? Well I would be lying if I said my Buell experience has been nothing more than a big let down. I've always liked The looks and characters of the Buells but I have never had so many problems with a bike in the first couple of thousand miles. And my Dealership is shady and I will never go back or recommend them to anyone. Now my question is, Can I touch up chips with paint? what kind and where do I buy it from? or Does anybody know a good wheel chromer? |

I don't understand... Buell already approved the warranty swap? Yes or No? The DEALER then tells you that they won't honor BUELL'S warranty? Sounds to me like you need a new dealer. Keep in mind too, that the Buell experience seems to (unfortunately in this case) heavily rely upon the dealer. I would find a new dealer and explain the situation, maybe try to get some reference numbers from your dealer so you can call Buell yourself. Maybe talk to Court as well? |

sounds like they let the 6.50 an hour teenage pothead tech change your tires, like they did mine and scratched em...call buell direct, thats the best bet. |

Yes M1, it was pre-approved after dealers took pics of wheels etc.. and sent them in. Now the DEALER say's I must have hit something because now all of the sudden there is mystery dents in rims? |

I also think it's funny how I hit both rim's to dent them and chip paint off. But since owning the bike I Haven't even hit a speed bump needless to say something so hard that it would dent BOTH of my rims and have no recollection of it? HMMMM? |

Buell customer service phone number 414-343-4056. Call them with your VIN and see if they can help you work out the issue. |

Hmm.. You know these problems can always be solved with a small application of High Explosives. The Dealer.... NOT THE BIKE... |

Not to hi-jack this thread...but almost all personal problems can be solved through the proper application of high explosives. |
