Author Message   Socal Posted on Thursday, April 28, 2005 - 12:31 pm:        I'm looking for the OEM fasteners that attach the headlight to the black mounting bracket on a 1996 S1 Lightning. The fasteners are button head cap screws I believe with large diameter washers and have a black finish.   Joesbuell Posted on Thursday, April 28, 2005 - 05:16 pm:        Socal go to a Ducati dealer and buy the bolts and alloy washers of a Ducati Monster any model all the same,they look a lot better and cheap as chips,also Ducati Monster head light is the same and half the price as Buell's and if you need a new lens and reflector go to a BMW motorcycle parts outlet and get it from them (again cheaper then Buell)at the moment dont know part numbers but my local Buell dealer is a BMW dealer as well and this is what they recommend. I was hoping somebody on here might have an S1 parts basket lying around collecting dust - especially since it seems they get partd out often.
