I rode my 2003 xb9s home for the first time today YAHOOOO!!! what a ride. my first ride was short due to the fact that battery was bad, check engine light came on, gauges went dead, returned to dealer right away, battery was replaced while I waited. I was wondering if anyone has the Buell street fighter seat and if they found it comfortable. I was riding an ninja 500 till today and found the xb's seat uncomfortable. any info or help would be greatly appretiated. Dave |

welcome Dave! i'm new to the family too, i'm like psycho in love with my 12S.. . i was just down in Cumberland, RI on Friday, small world. A business partner of mine lives down there on Rt. 120, I rode down to show him the new XB. He's in the process of acquiring a new Ducati Monster 620 from Razee's. The season is here, enjoy the new ride |

Oh man, you got a yellow one!? What were you thinking!? Welcome, I'm pretty new here myself, but most of these folks are the best bikers I've ever met. Now you have to start buying stuff! |

In reply to your question, my streetfighter seat is gradually breaking in, I say give it a few 1000 miles to decide if you like it. By then, you'll either have had the foam mold to your shape a bit, or developed sufficient butt callouses that you dont notice any more. Enjoy the new bike ! |

Congrats on the XB9S. I love mine and I'm sure that you will too! My first upgrade, so to speak, was the Buell Streetfighter seat. I couldn't take the stock one another mile past the 500 break-in period. The difference was like night and day! -Brad |
