This is gonna take a while trying to relay the GREAT experience we had at T.W.O. so hang with me. It's gonna take a couple of nights, so stay tuned. My beginning mileage: Here's an interesting pic of the trusty steed in the fog. It's pretty interesting - like the flash caught the dew droplets in the air: Waiting for Carlos to show at our meeting spot I decided to take some pics of my S2 in it's disguise (i.e. washed and somewhat clean): 1313 |

Just after our first gas stop (South of Greensboro) Carlos had to perform an emergency sidestand switch-endectomy: But it gave me a chance to snag a pic of his Pro Series Catch Can (Can you believe +20 Hp?!): Just outside of T.W.O. at a stop to try and get a cell phone signal I shot a few random pics: This about narrows it down, NOT!: Honest folks, I DON'T make this stuff up: Sure is some beautiful countryside, though: 1313 |

For our time at T.W.O. we became trailer trash as we had rented the mobile home for our accomodations: 4 S2's parked under the lean-to shelter off our trailer. Carlos either didn't know about the lean-to or thought the communal shelter would allow him to get on the road quicker. To say that our party was anti-Jap bike probably wouldn't be a stretch if you caught a look at the remains by our trailer: Truth be told there are a handful of old Jap bike littering the campground at T.W.O. adding to the flavor. For example this one that seemed to have gotten off its intended path: 1313 |

A sign sure to bring delight to any Buell rider: While it was raining on Thursday I had lots of time to check out all the cool stuff at T.W.O., and therefore you will have a lot of pictures to look at - kind of like going over to someones house and watching their vacation home videos... No Squids! Sounds like our kind of place! Motorcycle Parking Only - Definitely my kind of place! The waterfall that feeds the creek running through the T.W.O. property: 1313 |

Inside the lodge, main building, mess hall or whatever you want to call it there are decorations to hold one's interest for hours - Thank God because with the rain on Thursday I needed something to do. From really cool T-shirts: To real cool momentos of past events at T.W.O.: And even more cool T-shirts (An idea for the next C-3 journey to T.W.O. - of course, after we have our own shirts): But this had to be, by far, the coolest decoration: 1313 |

Some more decorations provided some examples of the local color to be seen when traversing the beautiful roads surrounding T.W.O.: Even immortalized on a past T.W.O. shirt: Spike would've really dug this beauty! A chromed Z50: Owned by Britt, one of the owners of the fine T.W.O. establishment, you could tell by this sticker: Amen to that - both above and below: Even though we were so close, I never had the time to swing down to check this place out: Someday I will make it there! Maybe the 3%ers will have a BattleTrax event forcing me back into the Atlanta area... The inviting fireplace in the lodge: And something I've always wanted to see - A GO sign: 1313 |

YEAH! We finally got to ride! From L to R; me and my S2, Carlos (M2nc) and his M2, Jim and his S2-T, Norbert and his S2-T and Mike (Buellish) and his S2-T: We had been jokingly referring to our meeting as the meeting of the 2's at T.W.O., because of the 4 S2's and 1 M2. Court, Check it out! Not one: Not two: But three Parkway Blue S2-T's in our group: 1313 |

On Saturday Buellish had arranged for a visit from some of the Stone Mountain BRAG Group, a.k.a. the 3%ers, and their fine machines: It was music to my ears to hear the 3%ers exclaim how they were outnumbered by tube-framed Buell's! It almost seemed like this Aprilia wanted to be a part of the winged horsey (Pegasus for those of you who do not have a sense of humor) club: And an extra special surprise visit of a '97 S1 made the day complete: Thanks to Gig for bringing it out and riding with us for the rest of the afternoon! Although at times it seemed like were would get run off by a bunch of 500 cc two-strokes that seemed to be having a rally at T.W.O.: 1313 |

For a dose of some good old-fashioned happenstance, after a couple of riders in our party stopped for gas the rest of our group stopped by the side of the road by this old gas station looking building. Amazingly it wasn't until just before we left that I noticed something that really caught my eye: Before departing T.W.O. I had to capture Britt's Blast! signed by none other than - THE MAN: You have to know that you are in for a GREAT time when one of the proprietor's rides a Buell! And, the amazing menu's needed to be preserved for posterity: How many of us does this next image describe? I know for sure that it suits me to a T: After a beautiful day of riding home on Sunday, my odometer proudly displayed: 1313 |

It was definitely a GREAT time with GREAT people at a GREAT place! Thanks to: Buellish for arranging the accomodations for our trip! The 3%ers for coming out to say Hi and ride with us! Britt and GT - the owners of T.W.O. - for operating such a fine place! Now maybe some of the others in attendance can provide some more words to go with my pictures... 1313 |

The red S1 was definitely a '97. I remember seeing something on it that made me know it was a '97. Plus Gig (the owner) told me it was when I asked to confirm my suspicions. Oh yeah, it had the '97 only Ferodo ST-1 front rotor on it. That's how I knew it was a '97. 1313 |
