If so, welcome to the ranks of happy Mille/XB owners. I own and love both bikes! |

Wow Robert, a Busa to a scooter, quite the change! Can a scooter even get up the hills in Duluth? When are you coming down to show us the D&D pipe? |

I was down there a couple of weekends ago on the Buell. When it was really nice out. I remember going to Bobs Java Hut about 10:00P.M and easily in the upper 60's. Now back to reality we've had snow flurries up here the last 4 days. God, I can't wait for the one nice week in July to come around! I'll give you a heads up before I come down again. My parents live in Wayzata, and my riding buddies live out in the Medina area. I am planning on going to homecoming. Are you? Oh yeah by the way those scooters are pretty fast on flat level road, 55ish mph. For a 50cc. thats not bad. Up the hills around here. 25 to 30 tops. The funniest thing with those is they download a High Performance "map" with a Game Boy Controller. I Chit you not. I will Probably bring the scoots to Road America/homecoming. So if you are going you'll get a chance to ride one of the beasts.lol. |

That little Aprilia scooter will have no problems climbing the hills in Duluth. It's liquid cooled and fuel injected. I'm jealous! Nice scoot ya got there! |

Yes, I did, or least going to if I ever get enough time to do the paperwork and pay up. I've wanted one since 02 when I rode one. Just a cool, different bike. I also couldn't see paying new price for one! I took this one in on trade on a XB12R. I haven't even had a chance to ride it yet. |

Daves...Kudo's on a great score! The track reviews on that bike are really great. Looks like it will be a contender at both Road America and Blackhawk. |

Hmmm...smells like Dyna will be forced into a different riding technique now that you will be more of a challenge. Something akin to radical late braking and finally hanging off. Sorry Dyna, I just couldn't resist the tease. No criticism intended. I only saw you ride once last year. That was your first time on the track with your R1 and you were still getting used to it. |

Dang, I forgot Dyna is moving this weekend and will probably miss my feeble attempt at teasing him. |

The Mille R is no match for the R1, just look at how much more HP he has. |

Dave...am aware they aren't in the same class. I like the way the two of you do the track day's and it was just curious on the match in local track conditions. |

Way nice bicycle, for damn sure:-) - Ohlins and all! Actually, I probably shouldn't even be saying this, but I just happen to know as a definitely probably maybe that this particular bike is nothing more than a cleverly disguised test mule for the Rotax powered Buell that I confidentially revealed a few months ago. Can't fool ol' Gentleman Jon that easily:-) Trade in my a$$!! |
