Am I alone, my XB"Niner" sometimes Hiccups off idle. The FI is flawless, but every so often, when leaving a traffic light, she gives a lil' cough.

My Sporty does this also.

all XBs will do it, some just less then others...you can fix it on ur sporty with a 45 slow jet (stock is 42) you will need it even if you have a jet kit on the sporty...it dont come with a bigger SJ

Mine is set at 1050, basically a needles width over 1000.

That sounds about right for the idle, I've learned that with most fuel injected stuff (especially stuff that idles lower like the Buells) that it's best to "roll" on the throttle from idle. They have so much torque down there any way that you don't really lose anything. It's not like you need to get to 5000RPMs before you let the clutch out : ).

I had the same thing happen to me. The dealer told me it had to do with the EFI not liking short bursts of throttle due to the emissions sumsuch. I just dont give it short "hits" or "blips" on the throttle any more, just give it the gas. Havent had the problem anymore.
