Oh Yeah! It was the year 1978 and i stumbled upon a left over 77XLCR for sale at a Harley dealer up in the Hazelton Pa area. The asking price $2700.00. I offered $2500.00 and drove away with it. It was Harleys crude version of a road racer which i loved riding very much, I only wish Eric Buell would have been available to add his touch and maybe get Harley going into the right direction ,engineering wise. I guess good things take time.  | ||

Thanks Mark, As you probably already know by now, seeing you are also a S1 owner, S1s rule! It's not a tough choice to make when deciding which bike to ride. | ||

You gotta love um Chad, and living in the Las Vegas area like you do, you get to luv um a whole lot more.My first Buell ride was a rental from Las Vegas H/D Buell. I shot up to Hoover Dam , ripped around the desert and canyons and back to Vegas. It was right there and then that i said "Man i gotta get me one of these!I latter flew up to Seattle and bought a S3T that i drove 6100 miles back to Penna. I then added the 98 S1w to my collection and like a bad habit it pretty much has taken over the garage.I think the damn thing is "EVIL" ,It"s possessed , It"s an addiction.Man i Gotta go , the garage lights are flashing on and off. | ||

Kevin , Sweet S2T, But i gotta say that S1 is mean and clean. I like the Black on White combo, nothing on it that don't belong there. | ||
