ok here is my setup, 04 xb9s, K&N air filter, snorkel removed, TFI (settings 4,8,4,8)and D&D exhaust. I have noticed two weird things, 1 probably dangerous.

When I decel i can hear the bike lose power I hear the exhaust quit for a second no longer then i hear the exhasut again. I also notice this when Im downshifting to 1st on a stop, i hear and feel the power on the bike kinda do a burp. It only happens when I decel. Second and this one almost made me crash. when accelerating the bike all of a sudden jumps in revs and pulls, kind of like a "kick" This has happened twice, and the first time caught me off guard as I had one hand on and the other lowering my visor. Any ideas what the hell is going on?

Sounds to me like you're too rich and your plugs are starting to foul or something to that effect. If it were mine, I would turn the first three pots down two clock positions and see what it does.

Better yet, take it to a Dyno.

One more thing... After you installed the Techlusion and set the pots did you ride it at about 3200-3500 for a while to let the AFV adjust to wherever it needs to be?

It sounds like you may have an intermittent short that is affecting the signal for the injectors. On decel, the short is causing them to shut off completely, as well as possibly your ignition. Then on accel, the short is doing the reverse and acting as if you have the bike at WOT so its feeding fuel as if it were WOT in a heavy surge. My suggestion is to turn off the TFI and see if the problem fixes itself. If it does then you know you have an issue with the TFI, if it doesn't, then you definately have an issue that needs to be tracked down.

My XB9S does the same exact thing with the K&N, desnorkled, race ECM, and D&D.
