FB, you certainly dove through deeper underlying layers of readin' between the lines than I ever intended but if I've guilted you into a trip back east then my goal was achieved! Ill be ridin' my own Asian Tour Bus over the dragon in two weeks and'll put a peg down for ya. Now if we could only guilt the Doc into ridin' west... All the best to your Mom and Henrik's |

FB - Did ya tell 'em that at least you were wearing shorts (as in actual "outer-wear" ) and not undies like some people we know? |

JB2, have fun and be safe, and get the place warmed up for us. i'm thinkin' something along the lines of BRATPAC II (without, of course, Hurricane Floyd) for Sept '06 has a nice ring to it. whatcha think??? Dino, i'm reluctant to poke TOO much fun at a certain bear-like Buell rider we know, as he DID pass on our regards to Erik on Sunday at Willow Springs as requested, AND, as he now knows how to hang pix here on BADWEB, i'm afraid if i lean on him too hard the shot of me above at Angels Camp could live on forever, if ya catch my drift. btw: yes, i DID have undies under my undies. btw part two: me 'n D are guessing that it might have rained just a wee teeny little bit in the Southern Sierra Sunday night/Monday morning??? "me 'n D are guessing that it might have rained just a wee teeny little bit in the Southern Sierra Sunday night/Monday morning??? " I seem to recall that we did have a bit of a sprinkle during the aforementioned period of time. I understand that all entrances to Yosemite NP were closed starting late Monday morning. |

Ferris & JB2 - Thanks! Will do. BRATPAC II in 2006 sounds doable at the moment. Hopefully I'll still remember how to ride a bike by then If not I can always go hang some sheetrock in JB2's garage instead Henrik |

btw, part three: my Mom is on the road -- she drove down from western Washington for this gig, and has been in the four-wheel wind for a week now. i talked to her this morning in Mill Valley, CA (where Lonnie and Maribeth live) and told her of this thread's existence, and that several people had already chimed in and wished her a Happy Birthday. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! she and my uncle Rocky are headed to Eureka, CA tonight, and she MAY get a chance to get online and check this thread out, or, if not, i KNOW she will when she gets back to Bremerton. all of which is a long-winded way of saying that i appreciate the comments directed her way. she "adopted" the name Ma Bueller quite a few years ago, when i was trying to do this stuff for a living. the name sticks to this day, and she considers you all friends. thanks again. |

BRATPAC II sounds awesome! Maybe I've come full circle enough to enjoy a group ride again? Undies will be required! ...and bring D & Dino & Char, please. Henrik, I just sold the VFR and the garage is next on my list of projects. It's been a long time coming but... if you want to skip BRATPAC II and hang sheetrock I'll save it for you?!?!?! |

there you have it folks. the creator of the first BRATPAC rally wants to do it again, and so do i. Dino and Char, is a year and four months and two weeks enough notice? Corso? (and Shel?) Unibear? Ebear? Henrik and Melissa? Danny? Fireman Jim? who else wants to play??? Denise, we need to talk... FB ps to JB2: i want to spend two full weeks doing the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, the BRP, etc. the "gettin' there and gettin' home" part will be whatever we can scrape together and affix to the beginning and end, but THIS time i want the Blue Ridge Full Meal Deal All-You-Can-Eat Special. Two weeks sounds real good. I've spent a lot of years(30) combing the Blue Ridge Mountains and I can easily fill that amount of time with new asphalt adventures everyday. The number of people who might actually be able to do the ride will be kept low due to the time factor but I promise an unforgettable adventure to anyone who can make it. We'll post a BRATPAC II page on Storm Fronts in the next few months and get the ball rolling. Time to dig out a calendar, maps and phone numbers and get to work if we're going to do it up Ferris-style, eh? |

Dino, That is an awesome shot you made. Even though you didn't break out the camera much you did break it out at the right time! Shel and I laughed sooooooooooo hard. If you don't mind, will have to use that one for some creative photoshop work. Jim |

S.LeeZ., we went right by there yesterday on the way back but time was an issue and we had a lot of ground to cover. if i'd known she was moving we would have absolutely stopped and said hello. wow, Galt is not gonna know what to do without her! please tell her we said hello, and that we're bummed that we didn't visit for at least a few minutes. |

Dino it takes awhile to clean up a full glass of 7-up off of a keyboard & monitor! I don't quite know what to say except that at least I had the right beer in hand in my pic and everybody knows I'm not politically correct even tho I always have undies under undies too! Well ok ONCE I didn't (and this wasn't in AZ!) but that doesn't count cuz it was the outer undies I forgot not the under undies! Uhh was that TMI? Yes Ferris you are wise to my ways because your pictorial visage of Californian biker under undies has been SAVED should the need arise! (Message edited by unibear12r on May 18, 2005) |

Jim - Please, photoshop away...can't wait to see! Hard to believe that that was the one image that sparked my photographic interest all day, huh? Unibear - I feel just terrible about your computer mishap. Maybe I should e-mail you a warning in advance when I'm gonna post a pic of FB. |

Ma Bueller, I would like to express my apologies and many thanks to you. Apologies, of course, because of my part in the "hijacking" of a thread of such a wonderful family outing. You've got to understand tho that catching and posting Jerry unawares in a photo is a rare event that must be taken advantage of! Believe me Jerry is WAAAY ahead on points in that type of activities! Thanks, of course, because of your part in bringing about someone who has become such a great friend of mine. While many of us might not agree with his fashion sense , I'm sure there are many who like me love him (like a brother now!) for the boat load of good character he has. I'm sure you had more than a little bit to do with that! You have every right to be proud. Glenn Dolph (Message edited by unibear12r on May 20, 2005) |

September 2006 is the best i can tell you at this point. don't particularly want to be doing the Gap, et al, on Labor Day weekend for obvious reasons, but anytime after that will be the absolute bomb. plan on a full two weeks down there, plus whatever time you can/want to take getting there and back. me 'n D MAY rent a bike for this one, and fly there and back, but we are still very early in the "pondering the options" process. |
