Blake, You are doing an awesome job with what you have done. A few more days will not kill us (just so long as MY bike makes it into next years calendars) Maybe I should actually send in pics? As soon as I get mine I am going to take it down to my dealer and show them what they can get. They are selling a lot of Buells here. I used the link also. Shawn |

Blake: FACT: You remember "patch fines"? I've got you in my gunsights. QUESTION: I may need a quantity of about 15 calendars quickly next week. Would, should this happen, it be possible to get them FedRex'd? Court P.S. FedRex is when they are delivered by a very fast flying teradactyl |

Haven't been following this thread for weeks. Just curious why I haven't received my Ltd Ed. Calendar yet? Think I was about the 8th one to order one on eBay. Guess I must of really pissed someone off, no picture of my RR1200 on the last calendar either. I'll crawl back my hole again. Cheers, -SD: |

NS! The guy gripes about not getting his bike in the calendar. I'm thinking... Might help if he sent us a photo of it. Then he "guesses" that he might have pissed someone off. DUH! You know we love you Jim. Why the hell else would we put up with you? |

Dude, I already told you privately WHERE you can get the bodywork. Dunno if I'll make it to Bonneville but would love to. Depends on the dates, interference with my teaching job and lastly my damn back. Still having major problems with the back. As for the photo, I figured since you were directed to Steve Maddens site for TONS of outstanding pictures, you'd select the RR1200 that was there, including the super cool looking image of Aaron's bike I took. Goes to show I shouldn't of figured. Hey, I'll get over it, I have thick skin. On another note, someone broke into my house up in Pine Thursday. They took just about everything that wasn't nailed down. Must of had a U-haul to get that much stuff. No one saw a freaking thing either. Glad I didn't have any of my toys up there. This is the second time that has happened. The first time was in the construction phase. They took -ALL- (like 100%) of the wood, the beams and all of the exterior siding. -SD: |

It is all CJ's fault. We'll get it in next year for sure if you have a bigger version of it. The digital photos for the calendar gotta be pretty high resolution. Are you sure it didn't make the collage? I remember thinking that I wanted your bike in there for sure. Don't tell me I missed it. |

FMJ, You can always borrow my bodywork if you can find someone to make a mold of it. Then of course we'd have to come up with an agreement of WHO might get body parts via the mold in the future (Team Elves only etc.). There should be some expert folks in Cali that can handle the mold job. -SD: |

Smokedaddy, If I'm not mistaken, that shimmering ghost RR 1200 of yours is in the lower right of the collage page of the calendar. Check it out in the "Archive through April 8th" of this thread. If you'll just hold on to it 'til I win the Lottery, I'll take it off your hands, too! Has ANYONE received their calendar(s) yet? I got the bulk shipment of inventory from the printer yesterday and sent out five that were ordered after the direct mailing list due date. They look great. The only thing I noticed that was unexpected was that a few of them on the top and bottom of the box suffered rub marks due to inadequate protective packing (they were simply put into a box, no wrapping or protective film of any kind). If you receive a calendar whose cover is scuffed to an unacceptable level like that, please let me know. Or if you are willing to endure that the cover is scuffed a bit, that would be great. I would REALLY appreciate that. First one to find their username on the covers wins. If you want to know where your username is on the cover but cannot find it, donate $5 more to the FX Buell Racers Award (bribe) Fund, and I'll tell you where to find it. When taking a minute to read through some of the usernames on the front and back covers, it is amazing how many names I see that conjure good memories of interesting, informative discussion and/or spirited debate. Thanks to all here who have made this little corner of the web a very enjoyable and positive experience. Please note that not all BadWeB usernames are depicted on the covers, only those who as of March 1, 2005 either had posted recently or had contributed 50 or more posts. There are thousands. I haven't found my name yet. And please don't sue BadWeB if you go blind looking. The contrast of the dark blue print on black background is minimal and the print is small. Just remember... It's all CJ's fault. And if you want to get your username on next year's calendar, stop being so shy and contribute some of your favorite Buell or moto related adventures, or critical commentary, personal insights, observations or whatever you like (we like pictures a alot). Imortalize yourself on the pages of BadWeB! LOL! Just realize then that you will probably never be able to run for political office. Here are some small fuzzy shots of the front and back covers: The printed versions have a few different features. They for some reason came out with an outline of the "2005" year characters. I kinda liked it, so told the printer to go ahead and leave it. Thanks again to everyone for their patience. The March artwork is one of my favorite pages in the calendar too. I may cut it out and frame it. When you get your calendar(s), please let us know if you have any suggestions/comments that will help us improve for next year. Number one on my list is to go big-time mongo large, like the calendars you see at the bookstore. Which leads to the next goal... more orders. (Message edited by blake on April 15, 2005) |
