Does anyone know what the 3rd terminal(small Male spade) on the race ECM is for?? | ||

im pretty sure ive only got two large multi plugs on my ecm.....are you sure you are looking at the right part? | ||

The stock ECM has 2 plug ports, one black one gray. The race ECM has the same with a small terminal in the center of the Black & Gray ports. | ||

well ive swapped over the stock and race ecm's whilst testing out the tfi,and to be honest i never noticed the third one you mention | ||

Its for the XB12's exhaust (IES). | ||

I have a 03' XB9R - the box the ecm came in says 32814-02YA the actual ECM has 32801-02YA on a bar coded sticker, and a third terminal.... | ||

if its a 12 ecm that might explain it as mine is a 9 and i dont recall the third terminal.....and its a bit late here to go check,though i will tomorrow for sure | ||

I checked my ECM and it 32801-02Y 02197. The dealer put the race kit on for me back in 2003. There is no third terminal. | ||

My ECM that I got from Dave for my 9s has the "3rd" terminal but it looks like a single prong terminal. | ||

04 model XB9 have the third terminal. | ||

Thanks for the feedback, I just did not want to install an electrical device to find out it is for a XB12, then Im stuck with it. Maybe the small terminal is for Turbo Boost super powers!!!! |
