Ok, Ive seen alot of pics and I know some of you have made the switch and installed a R rear on your S. How do you like it now? What parts are needed? How much $$ did it take? Any help would be great.

http://www.tsmithbuellxb9slr.com/ I got all the Subframe parts from Dave S at Appleton, I got the plastic and seat cowl on e-bay. In all I think I spent about 600.00 the seat is much more comfortable than my S"L" seat, I feel more in control and out of the wind, I also changed my bars out to cross roads. It is a big difference and i didnt think I would like it at first, but I have gotten used to it, and it wont be turned back into an "S" I just need to get everything painted now. |

Thanks, the bike looks great. I really like the mix of the S and R you get from that conversion. Any way of getting a close up shot of the brake fluid bracket you made?

I didn't need to fabricate a battery tie down when I did mine. I used the one from the stock R. |
