I haven't exactly been in a rush to head out to the garage Ski. I have a parts book coming from Dave to help me figure out what I need. Most of the damage is the front end and roadrash. |

Mikel, sorry to hear about the crash and the elbow. I've been out of touch working to much. Send me an email or call if you still have the number. I can run errands, connect with others or come over and help when some one else wants to help with the bike. You know I can drive by on my way home from work any day. Heal up quick and take care of yourself first. |

I didn't think the sling bag and demo ride promotion started until the 15th. Where did you go for yours? |

That has to be the best "free" gift I've ever got from a promotion. The bag rocks! All sorts of pockets and features. I bet they could sell it for $50 if they wanted to. |

Buellj79, You too pal. Always nice to meet new people to ride with. Man. We hit just about every kind of road condition Saturday. It felt good to rack up a bunch of miles right here in our own back yard. Later |

Now here I sit on duty all dehydrated I don't know if Eliz will forgive our behavior!LOL I can finally say I wish you all were here instead of I wish I was there for once... |

Yea, Wycked. Thanks man. R.E. that rotary bike above. I made a wise crack on some threads previously saying Buell should make a rotary bike. Just foolin' around. I had no idea it had been done... With the new exotic materials making reliability better, a high revving rotary would be fun! |

I think Buell should make a rotary bike also and live up to there motto, "Different in every sense" |

Norton had the longest running line of rotary bikes. Had the company not gone under I personally think Norton would have gotten the rest of the bugs worked out. Their last run of rotory design was fairly releiable, just the chassis wasn't the best and made the bike a real beast to ride. I often wonder what engines of yesteryear would be like with modern cutting edge chassis designs. For instance, how much better would a TZ750 be if properly mated to a R6 rolling chassis? A Kawasaki H1 triple in a ZX-6RR frame work. Mike Hailwoods 260/6 Honda in a properly speced CBR/RR chassis. It really makes you wonder what the limits of those bikes would be now if rebuilt with modern advances in designs and the EPA restrictions of then... |
