Well it looks like the pictures I took are too large to post here. I need someone to re-size them for me so we can post them. |

I found this on the "cool Buell pic's page" See if that will reduce your pics. xat.com's JPEG Optimizer and Image Optimizer |

Kobie, email the pics to me at: Buelligan@cox.net and I'll shrink them down with Photoshop. I'm glad that Mikel got out of the fall with minimal damage to himself and the bike. He's a tough dude. He's gonna be in a bit of a pinch for a while since his work requires him to ride. He's going to need all the help we can give him. His bike did come out of the fall pretty good, looks like he'll need two throttle cables, a triple tree, (both upper and lower), steering bearings, and some work to the plastic, other than that he should be good to go. I'm certain he can use some cheering up, and support. His gear did do it's job, it certainly took a beating, I haven't seen his helmet, but his jacket has some serious scrapes. I'm glad he was wearing it as he always does, and will be around to ride another day. BuellHo |

Yea, that dang exhaust!!! amazing, the exhaust actually came out of it all in pretty good shape too. Ya know, looking at that first picture, his bike kind of looks like a chopper. Maybe Mikel was trying for that "custom" look. |

Hey Kobie, When is he due to be released from the hospital? If he is going to be there for a few days, you may want to post where he's at so folks can go and visit. |

Just got off the phone with Mikel's girlfriend. He made it through surgery last night just fine. It took 21 screws.2 plates and some wire to put his elbow back together. Looks like he is going to need a bone graft though. So it looks like he'll be there at least till Monday. For anyone that wants to contact him he is at: John C Lincoln Hospital 3rd street and Dunlap in Phoenix.602-870-6060 x534-2. |

Talk about that sickening feeling. I was just popping in to say hi as my brothers have been in town a couple of days riding with me. Wycked, I hope your elbow heals up well man. I'll be praying for ya. It sucks that this happened. IF YOU NEED ANYTHING, LET ME KNOW. I'll try to help in any way I can. If I don't have it, I'll find someone who does. I'm going to have my friend make another pipe like mine out of the stock one I've got in my garage so that's one less thing you'll have to worry about replacing... You can have it if you want. Like Bart said. There's easier ways to make a chopper... |

Son of a... Sorry to see that Mikel. I will however start checking my straps of the Force pipe more often though. DAMN. I'm glad you made it through, and if you need anything I have, don't hesitate to ask... |

Wycked is doing better, although it may be 12 or more weeks before he returns to work. He may be leaving the hospital and going home on Tuesday. |

Mikel, Dude your supposed to ride it till it seizes, not chopper it, when your riding it. Glad your doing ok, I'll be here until the end of April if you need anything. Kobie does anyone have a complete parts list of what he is going to need yet? "Ride it till it seizes" Ski |

Yea, he was (is) a test rider out at the Mesa facility. I hope he opted for it and his coverage had kicked in. That is a good question. I'm just glad he'll mend, expensive or not... That's the important thing. I thought about that pipe I have. It won't work. It's for a 9 so the outlet is going to be too small for his 12 motor. I don't even think it'll match up to the header for that matter will it? (Message edited by charlieboy6649 on March 29, 2005) |

Kick . At least you'll be there, and thank you. I have a stock 12 can if you need it... I'll need it for a Drummer conversion, but I have the Force pipe so it's yours until you replace it... |

Wycked, glad to see you out and about. I hope you didn't cry when you got home and looked in the garage. I know I would have. I hope you'll be able to get your camera repaired also, I know how you enjoy your photography, and that was a pretty expensive camera that got trashed in the accident. When you get time, perhaps you should start a thread on the quick board with a list of parts you need to get the bike back up. I'm sure the Badweb community will step up and help you out. Once again, call me if there is anything I can do for you. I won't be stopping at any bars tonight as I'm helping Shaina move into a new apartment. Good luck my brother, stand tall, and heal fast. You'll be in the wind again! Whoretimus |

Wycked, just saw the post about you in another forum. Glad you weren't hurt any worse than you were. The bike looks amazingly good considering what happened to it. Your mishap is another good reminder to all of us to regularly check these things for loose/broken bolts/clamps/etc. Hang in there... |
