Has anyone used any of the various clutch additions that reduce the amount of pressure needed to engage, such as this one from Trojan?  | ||

not here. Just ride more, your arm and wrist will get accustomed to it. I can hold my clutch in for a full red light with just 2 fingers, without even thinking about it.  | ||

must have weak hands there enigma as its never been a problem for me......though the big 12 has more clutch plates than the little 9 | ||

I have a XB twelve and kind of like the clutch the way it is. In fact I just changed over to heavier springs on my ducati because when I bought the new one it was a easy pull model. It had no feeling to it at all. | ||

Lubricate the cable! It's a little tedious, but it made a major difference in my clutch pull. | ||

i have seen a very nice hydrolic setup, no that i ever need it but it looks so nice, when ever i see it it speaks to me " buy me , buy me " well i wait for a while and buy the matching set, radial masterbrake and the radial clutch pump with it  | ||

As far as lubricating the clutch cable, I just use my little oil can (motor oil) and---holding the cable as vertical as possible---keep squirting a little oil down through the tiny opening until it finally makes it all the way through. There are spray lubricants (not WD-40) that I've also used, but I forget the name (Tri-Flow?). Basically anything that's slippery helps. My XB-9R clutch pull is as easy as my son's R-6. And if you if have small hands like I do, an easy clutch does reduce fatigue during a long day's ride in the twisties. | ||

I think graphite powder would work well too. Same used to lube door locks. | ||

Graphite products like Dri-slide can build up at a bend or low point and trap dirt which will cause alot more problems especially like speedo cables.... Airlines are getting away from it for this reason... | ||

PcModeler, my XB9S has one fitted. The clutch action is fine. I don't really notice or think about it, so it must be ok! | ||

The EZ-Pull version of the above won't fit in an XB model Buell trans. | ||

Chain lube and a cable lubing tool, you should try my Laverdas clutch if you want to feel stiff!! | ||

Stone Mtn HD took an easy pull clutch off a sportster, did a little grinding so it'd fit my XB and put it on my bike. I have about 1000 miles on it and LOVE it. My wrist used to hurt when I'd ride for any period of time and I haven't had an issue since.  There is some guy who is always selling the easy pull mechanisms on Ebay. All it needs is a little grinding, which you can do yourself, from what I've been told. | ||

That'll be the Muller Power Clutch. I have one fitted and it definitely feels easier to me. Easy enough to fit etc too. |
