As for problems, : day I purchased, got home and fuel was leaking from somewhere above the fuel pump
As for dealer: Purchased from HD/ Buell of Frederick (MD).. GREAT sales people
due to my lack of confidence after the fuel leak situation Service at Battlefield HD ( Gettysburg PA) The only thing I had done there was TPS reset and check Timing. Very good experience with them |

Update:
No problems with the bike so far.
Dealer: Was ok till it went bust before I even got my free first service. However, West Coast Harley in Glasgow did me proud and waived the labour on the first service coz they said they valued my custom. They've been cool since and had a set of one piece Buell leathers in my size the same as the ones in the original brochures. At a seriously reduction too. Cool!! |

I have owned 3 Buells, Blast, XB9S and now a 12R
I have only had dirt bikes before the Blast.
I have had the a XB for about a year and a half now.
I only have the 12R now.
My first bike was a Yamaha MX60. I was 3 years old.
My 9S at about 135mph on track days at Putnam Park.

how long have u owned a buell xb- I bought one of the first twelves to arrive in El Paso. I had to peek through a little slit in the cover on the shipping crate.

top speed on a buell- 140 indicated and just off of the rev limiter.

any problems w/your buell-I apparently own the only trouble free XB in El Paso. The tech at the dealer was amazed I hadn't had any problems. I do all my own service except the TPS reset.
do you like your dealer- the techs are okay and generally take the time to describe and show me the work performed, ie. resetting the TPS and adjusting the idle. I suspect my dealer may be getting out of Buell business. Barnett's no longer has the display of Buell gear and bikes that they used to have.

why did you buy a buell xb- it was simple, weird, and unique. As a former president from Georgia said, "I felt lust in my heart". I suffer from terminal TDS and the XB12R fit like it was designed for especially for me.
