Your right not a good day at all! We are all rooting for ya Lance. My encounters have been of the feathered variety and I've always won. Bambi is no match for a Cage much less a 2-wheeler. Neil S. |

Lance, I haven't chimed in yet but I've been thinking of you. I've had plenty of scares with various critters but the deer spook me the most. Hang in there, be sure to pinch a few nurses behinds just to show them you still know what the important things are! (On second thought, maybe it better be your SO (Significant Other)) Brad |

Just got back from the hospital.Lance is going to be fine, well,as 'fine' as one could be after experiencing what he's been through.Doesn't sound like he'll have any permanent damage or anything like that.Sure glad to hear that!!!He's still not talking or opening his eyes but he can understand what is being said to him and responds with toe wiggles and grunts. They got him all doped up so he's not as combative.Obviously he's a fighter.I told him that everybody has been praying for him and posting messages of support for him and his family.I'm sure he'll appreciate it when he gets back up and at 'em.I gave his wife the address here so she can read eveything(hi Dalisa!!).Dude has a great family and a lot to live for,he's a lucky fella. Ditto with the helicopter ride, a fellow pilot of the female variety assurred me the the ride that she got after an engine out and put down in a paddock got her a ride to hospital was rough, noisy and in flight had her head lower than her feet was something not to wish for. |

To Lance (and family): Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. To Bill: Your friends are correct; you did all that you could have - imagine what it would have been like for Lance if you HAD NOT been there. I can still remember the sick feeling you describe - from both sides. Oz - the only Buell in Buffalo |
