You probably have a short in the power leads to the lights themself. Thus, when you supply power to one by flipping the switch, you're inadvertantly supplying power to both. Disconnect the lights themselves and use a multimeter to check the power leads (Brown or Violet, depending on the side) to see if they are shorted together. If they are, doa little bit of snooping around - you've got a rub-through somewhere that's connecting the two wires. Changing back to the original lights will most likely change nothing, as the problem is in the power delivery, not the bulb assemblies. Good luck! Bryan |

Also you might want to add.... What ohm and watts are the bulbs? That could have an effect on the relay and cause a short. |

No relay in the XB9R's lighting system, but he has a point. If you're pulling too much wattage through the lights you could potentially melt the insulation and cause a short that way. Doubtful, though - that's why they make those wonderful little five cent fuses. Heehee...let us know what you find out - if it is a rub through it might be something the rest of us with XBs want to keep an eye on as well. Bryan |

there is a turn signal relay in the system...i had problems when i changed over to l.e.d. bulbs. Simple fix was 2 resistors i got from the guy i purchased the bulbs from on e-bay. If the bulbs don't draw enough amps the relay will just buzz and the lights will not flash |
