is there a how-to on this topic? bike is due for an oil change soon and i'm wondering how to change the oil/oil filter..i have onlychanged the oil oil/filter on a jap bike(zx-6r)..would it be the same? if not can anyone give me a step by step on how to do it and if possibly post pictures? also, any special tools i need? thanks (Message edited by pizza on March 17, 2005) |

If you can't change the oil with above instructions, you need to take your bike to the dealer and have then do it. |

You will need to change the primary/trans oil too at the 5000 mile intervals. |

I changed my fluids at 600 miles. I was surprised at the amount of metal shavings collected on the magnetic drain plugs. |
