It will fit, you will just need to grind down the stop nub on the S2 swingarm block mount. I am not sure how much to take off, but I am sure some one else here does. |

Aomy, one problem with the new swingarm on the S-2's is the rear frame rails are different and can bottom out on the arm when hitting a big bump or if you are a heavy guy or ride 2 up.If none of those things apply,it can be done.I had one on my bike for a couple of years--until I was going to run at Bonneville.I lowered bike and it would have been resting on rails. |

6' 140lbs. usually i dont bottom out suspensions,, grind some off the pegs though,, unfortunately do ride two up some times,, jim what shock were you using with your set up? did it only hit at the extent of the travel or was it part way threw, could the support be "tweeked" for clearance reasons. being as it dosent really play any part in mechanical function of the motorcycle just the riders. thanks all for your information and help,, it is greatly appreciated. aaron |

Never had any clearance problem with mounting block.Just that an S-2 frame is completely different in the back where the 2 frame rails come down and these cause interference--read that as hit the swingarm--under big bump or heavy loads.I was running standard 2nd or 3rd gen Showa with preload all the way up.I am about 175 lbs without gear. |
