| Problems/Miles (Please be specific): | XB had a wire for the servo control melt on day 2. Purchasing dealer (Columbia HD) fixed before shipping it home to me, but it returned. Ukes fixed it for good when the problem returned a couple of months later. 1190RX - left mirror fell off - looks like bolts overtightened 1190SX - Bad rear wheel bearings. |
| Other Mods/Misc/Customization.: | XB Heli bars and heated grips, touring seat and amber heel guards. 1190's heated grips, clutch slave update and ceramic coated muffler. Purchased Stinger-ectomy on the RX which I now have copied for the SX,Seems I never could get enough slack out of the throttle cables to make me happy so they both have the Motion Pro upgrade. |
| Favorite Rides (Roads and Routes): | Sunday AM ride always includes Hwy 142 in Kenosha county. Did a weekend around Hot Springs that I'd love to repeat. |
| Why I do/don't ride a Buell: | This goes way back to the 2nd GP at Laguna Seca and my brother and I spent about an hour BSing with Erik while he was manning his booth. Being and engineer, I was impressed with the man and his opinions, but the machines were out of my price range. I now make a little more money and can afford to treat myself a little. |

| Top speed on 2 wheels (mph): | Rumor has it that 140 was seen on my RF900 a couple of times. Pretty sure the statute of limitations has expired on that - if it were true . Did see 140 on a track day at Road America on the 1190RX. |
| Preferred engine oil (brand/grade): | Amsoil for the Buells and EBR. Otherwise depends on the bike, but Motul does great things to an old GSXR. |
