Problems/Miles (Please be specific): |
trip meters and clock reset when i roll the bike around while it isn't running. this started happening at about 1,000 miles. also right blinkers flash either normally, at hyper speed, or not at all depending on how she feels at that moment in time.

most mountain roads in western colorado.
|
Why I do/don't ride a Buell: |
have had 2 sportsters with the latter being a 1200 sportster sport and i love the sportster motor. this is my second buell. my first, a 2000 x1 was bought as an organ donar for my 60,000 mile sportster but was too much fun and traded after 6 months for my uly. still looking for a donor for the sporty.
|
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: |
i think they did when they came out with the uly. I have been envious of my buddys s3t (performance, comfort, and hard bags) for years. The uly took the idea of a tourer and made a great bike. Who needs a goldwing when I can run a dirt road and still run with sportbikes?
|
Life History/Philosophy: |
drive good running piece of s**t vehicles so you can ride fun motorcycles.
|
Top speed on 2 wheels (mph): |
however fast a 2000 x1 goes at 4,000 feet
|
Preferred engine oil (brand/grade): |
