Bike has standard buell cough/backfire associated with these bikes when they were released.I do not know the recall history of this bike as I bought it early last summer and my local harley dealer is a joke.Scheduled into the Buell dealership in Gastonia NC to satisfy any recalls(I know 1 has not been done)and service early 3rd week of Jan 2007.Bike is just over 7000 miles

Love the power,good solid,stable bike in the mountains Fantastic braking

self canceling turn signals,from all I hear the other complaints I have were cured in later years.Leaves only the horendous dealer service through the harley dealers network.Havent actually dealt with my local(ha ha)buell dealer yet but hopeful he will renew my faith
