Right hand saddlebag lock broke before I bought it (5,000). Exhaust can rear bracket sheared (7,400), one of the bolts holding the Rt. fairing lower to the airbox fell out and one footpeg rubber fell off (c.7,250). Belt developed hole (stone damage) - c.7,300 mile - replaced at 7,500 service. Fork seal went (c7,500) exhaust bracket sheared again - c7.650 miles - re-welded. Periodic temporary failures of indicators (water getting into box in heavy rain). Carb-icing in heavy rain c.7,650 miles (English November - temperature around 4 degrees celcius) - only cleared at 4,000 rpm in top gear (c96mph). Head gaskets went around 10,000 miles.

More fun than any other bike I've ridden.

Greater reliability. Better dealer support. Getting better low-end performance in stock form would be nice.
