| Problems/Miles (Please be specific): | 2500K Seat staples coming out (warranty repair, swapped for new seat during 5K) 5000K Low-beam dimming (HID kit + reflective metal tape will fix this) 4800K Front brake not actuating brake light (sussed during 5K service, was just a bit of gunk)[8000K edit: not sussed after all, broken, part on order] Front brake pulsing (changing to better pads front and back should fix) 4500K Dash cluster retaining bolt sheared (crap metal and crap design, but I should have known to baby it) 5000K Right side mirror mount threads stripped, used bolt/nut combo until I get a decision on if it's a warranty fix (seems that sheered threads would be a defect...but what do I know?)[8000K edit: apparently it isn't a defect but I like my new bolts so I don't care] 8200K Stator Plug (Warranty fix, going into the shop in a few days for the replacement.)[edit: not actually anything to do with the stator, actually gaskets, warranty fix at Legend HD in 2hrs] 8250K Special O.P.S. "Tailgunner" pipe lost one of the two heat shields on the outlet -- think it caught some road debris, metal failed not welds. Solution: take off the other one. Hey, it was used on a Uly before me so what can you do. Still love the pipe. |

| How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: | Headlight upgrade/recall -- how about HIDs or something Eric? [edit: ok, so you recalled the older 'bolts...it's a start at least. Now swap mine out!] ...and make a CG/Low option for my 'bolt! I can't see in the dark and I'm not 6'6" (or even 6'0). |
| Life History/Philosophy: | Thought about this, don't really have the latter, and the former is a bit more personal -- lets leave the history at "difficult" and call it good. 'course, then I met my wife and things evened out mighty nice...getting my 'bolt didn't hurt either. |
